  • Click on ‘Reports’
  • In the ‘Select an area’ drop-down list, click on the ward you want

 

See a topic report for a single neighbourhood (LSOA)

  • Click on the topic you want, from the ‘Home’ page or the ‘Data’ drop-down list
  • Click on ‘Reports’
  • In the ‘Select a report’ drop-down list, click on ‘LSOA’
  • In the ‘Select an area’ drop-down list, click on the LSOA you want

 

See a topic report for a group of adjacent wards or neighbourhoods

  • On the ‘Home’ page, click on ‘Tools’ then click on ‘Custom area reporter’
  • In the top right drop-down box, click on the area type you need (e.g. ‘Ward’, or ‘LSOA 2021’ for the most current LSOA data)
  • On the function option bar, click on the polyline (squiggly line) symbol
  • On the map, click once on each area you need, and double-click on the last area – selected areas will be highlighted on the map and named in the text box to the right of the map (use the scroll bar to see the bottom of the list)
  • In the topic list (lower text box), click on the topic you want (use the scroll bar to see the bottom of the list of topics)
  • Click the red bin symbol to discard your selection

 

See a brief overview report for a ward

  • On the Southwark map on the ‘Home’ page, click on the ward you want (or use the search box to enter a postcode within that ward)
  • The resulting report presents a selection of key datasets (go to the full topic report for more information)

 

Get specific data for other local authorities, London or England

  • From the ‘Home’ page, click on ‘Search the data’
  • Enter your specific data search term (e.g. healthy life expectancy)
  • Click on the specific data item you want
  • ‘Metadata’ shows more information about the data item (e.g. time period)
  • ‘Data’ shows a data table for all London local authorities – click on filter symbol then ‘Features’ to select your areas of interest (use the area level drop-down list to select region-level (e.g. London) or country-level (e.g. England) data)
  • ‘Map’ shows results for the data item, for all London local authorities
  • ‘Time series’ shows a chart of data over time, for the areas you select – click on the filter symbol then ‘Features’ to select your areas of interest, and click on the year boxes to select the start-year and end-year
  • ‘Ranked bar chart’ shows a chart of data results for different areas – click on the filter symbol then ‘Features’ to select your areas of interest (click on the year box to see previous years’ data)
  • Click the download symbol to download the displayed data or information

 

View chart data as a table

  • Click on the grid symbol at the bottom right of the chart or infographic

 

Download table data

  • Click on the cloud symbol at the bottom right of the table

 

Download an image

  • Click on the camera symbol at the bottom right of the data table or infographic

 

See a map legend

  • Click on the 3 lines symbol, to the left of the central map image
